The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested a Grade-I Stenographer and two subordinates for demanding and accepting a bribe of ₹5,000 at the District Principal and Sessions Court in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on Friday, February 20, 2026.

The accused, Palakurthi Sai Charan, was trapped while accepting the bribe amount through Kommu Sunitha and Punnam Rajitha, both subordinates. The bribe was sought from a complainant to hand over a certified copy of a judgment.

The tainted amount was recovered from them and all three of them were produced before the special court for SPE and ACB cases, Warangal.

The case is under investigation and the identity of the complainant has been withheld for security reasons.

The ACB has urged the public to report any demand for bribes by public servants by calling the toll-free number 1064. Complaints can also be made via WhatsApp (9440446106) or through ACB Telangana’s official social media platforms.
