Huge stock of rubber sheets, latex destroyed in fire at Aralam farm in Kerala; ₹10-lakh loss reported

A huge stock of rubber latex and sheets reportedly worth over ₹10 lakh was completely destroyed in a fire that broke out at Block 6 of the Aralam Agriculture Farm in Kannur, Kerala, on Friday night.

The smokehouse used for drying the sheets had caught fire. Locals said the blaze broke out late at night when no one was present in the area.

By the time the Fire and Rescue Services team arrived, the building had been completely gutted.
