Three children drowned in a farm pond at Madev Nagar in Minchanal in Vijayapura district of Karnataka on October 17.
Swapna Rathod, 12, Shivamma Rathod, 8 and Karthik Rathod, 7, died after they slipped into a pond in a farm. They had gone to the farm as they had a holiday at school.
A team of officials, including the tahshildar of Vijayapura and the local police sub-inspector, visited the spot.
