Two labourers slipped to their death from an under construction multi-storey residential building in Bellandur on Friday (October 10, 2025).
The deceased have been identified as Amir Hussain (33), and Mumtaz Ali Molla (28) natives of Sonpur in West Bengal.
The duo along with others were working at DNR Arista construction site for the last one month .
Based on the complaint, the Bellandur police have registered a case against Imperial Build Tech Pvt Ltd officials and site engineers charging them under death due to negligence.
The company and other site engineers failed to provide security gears leading to the tragic deaths, the police said, adding that there were no safety nets in place and the duo was working in the balcony without any safety gear and lost control and crashed on the ground, killing them on the spot. The police arrested six accused for questioning.
