AI engineering company Altimetrik opened a Healthcare and Life Sciences centre of excellence (CoE) in Hyderabad, which will support work across drug discovery, clinical development, commercial operations, manufacturing, patient engagement and care delivery.

The new facility brings together AI engineers and Life Sciences specialists to build agents that meet regulatory requirements, trace every output to trusted sources and keep people accountable for decisions. It is a part of Altimetrik’s 22,000 sq ft office in Gachibowli, which is home to more than 300 employees of the company.

Its recent expansion in Pune took its global workforce number past 11,000. The Hyderabad facility gives a dedicated industry-focused centre in India and expands the role of its India teams in global AI engineering delivery, Altimetrik said in a release on the opening of the CoE.

Hyderabad’s deep pharma expertise and technology talent besides the presence of pharmaceutical companies and contract research organisations here make it the right home for the CoE, said Altimetrik CEO Raj Sundaresan.
