The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm warning in nine Telangana districts for Saturday (September 26).
According to IMD’s latest bulletin, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar and Peddapalli districts.
Hyderabad city and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a generally cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thunderstorms accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in parts of the city. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 30C and 24C respectively,” the bulletin said.
