Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar took part in a roadshow organised by the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB) with the support of the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Paris on Friday.

He highlighted investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh and invited French industrialists to the CII Partnership Summit scheduled to be held in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15.

The Minister said the State was an ideal destination for foreign investments in India, with opportunities in agriculture, food processing, electronics, green energy, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, and science and technology.

Mr. Ravi Kumar also outlined the key features of the State’s Integrated Clean Energy Policy-2024, which aims to attract global investors to the renewable energy sector. He urged French investors to leverage the State’s ‘Speed of Doing Business’ initiative and industry-friendly policies.

As part of his visit, the Minister met representatives of EDF, one of France’s leading renewable energy companies, and invited them to invest in Andhra Pradesh.

APEDB CEO C.M. Saikanth Varma, Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Coumar Ananda, and Indian Embassy Counsellor Shalia Shah were also present.
