The Kulsumpura Traffic Police in Hyderabad conducted a road safety awareness programme at Gudimalkapur Market on Sunday (August 30) as part of the ongoing ‘Arrive Alive’ initiative.

The session was aimed at sensitising members of the market committee and drivers of four-wheelers about traffic regulations and safe driving practices.

Police officials advised participants to always carry a valid driving licence and cautioned against allowing minors to drive vehicles. They also stressed the importance of wearing helmets while riding two-wheelers and strictly avoiding driving under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.

The participants were also briefed on safe overtaking practices, including avoiding overtaking from the left, and were urged to follow traffic signs, rules and other road safety regulations.

The police highlighted the need for responsible and attentive driving to protect not only motorists but also pedestrians and other road users. Participants were urged to follow traffic laws consistently and contribute to reducing road accidents and making city roads safer.
