Six persons held in Tiruvannamalai for damaging glass panels at polling booth on poll day

Six persons were arrested by Tiruvannamalai Taluk police for damaging glass panels at a polling booth, in Melpathur village in Kalasapakkam Assembly constituency during poll day, over a dispute with a booth agent.

The police said that six persons involved in the incident were identified as K. Arunpandianm, 30, S. Chittarasu, 36, B. Vasanthakumar, 34, N. Kaviarasu, 29, R. Kandan, 32, and S. Elilmaran, 31.
