After receiving overnight rain in several parts, Hyderabad woke up to a cloudy morning on Sunday with showers returning to several parts of the city post noon. The overnight and daytime rainfall brought temperatures down in many areas, offering relief from the high temperatures recorded across the city since the beginning of August.

Rain lashed several parts of Hyderabad and its outskirts, including Moula Ali, A.S. Rao Nagar, Nacharam, Mallapur, Tarnaka, Ameenpur, Keesara, parts of Shamshabad, Miyapur, Kavadiguda, Medchal and Serilingampally.

According to data from Telangana Development Planning Society, as of 7 p.m., Moula Ali recorded rainfall of 52 mm followed by 24 mm in Kistareddipet, 21.8 mm in Keesara, 19 mm at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), 17 mm in Kongara Kalan, 16.3 mm in Sultanpur, 16 mm in RC Puram, 15.5 mm in Miyapur, 14 mm in Medchal and 13 mm in Kukatpally.
