Spirit of Independence programme concludes in Vizag

The two-day Spirit of Independence – One Nation, One Spirit, One Heart – exhibition-cum-cultural programme at Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar concluded on Sunday with a valedictory function.

Managing Director and Founder CEO of Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ), Jitendra Sharma, attended the event as a chief guest. He urged students to think beyond what they wanted to become and consider why they wanted to pursue their chosen goals. He also praised the school’s emphasis on ethics and values.

The exhibition featured more than 170 exhibits created and presented by 500 students, covering the freedom struggle, contributions of freedom fighters, intellectual awakening, value-based education, and spiritual freedom. Tribhuvan Sachdeva, Convenor, Sri Sathya Sai National Council for Schools, also appreciated the students’ creativity, discipline, and participation, according to the school.

A cultural presentation involving 300 students depicted physical, intellectual, and spiritual independence through dance, music, and thematic presentations. The programme also included a prize distribution ceremony for academic toppers.
