Deputy CM’s portfolios modified – The Hindu

With the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) coming into existence, the portfolios of Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar have been modified.

As per the notification issued by the Raj Bhavan, the modified portfolios of Mr. Shivakumar are: Major and Medium Irrigation, Bengaluru Urban Development (connected to Bengaluru Town Planning, GBA, and five city corporations coming under the GBA) and all the urban local bodies coming under Bengaluru Urban district (except service matters), BDA, BWSSB, BMRDA and BMRCL. Mr. Shivakumar earlier did not have the charge of urban local bodies in Bengaluru Urban District.

The Governor modified the portfolios and issued the notification following the advice of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
