The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation Limited (TGTDC) has launched a one-day pilgrimage and heritage tour package connecting some of the State’s prominent religious, cultural and handloom destinations.

The tour begins from Hyderabad with boarding points at Yatri Nivas, Secunderabad (7 a.m.), Paryatak Bhavan, Begumpet (7.15 a.m.) and the Central Reservation Office (CRO), Basheerbagh (7.30 a.m.). The first stop is the Sri Yadagiri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at Yadagirigutta, followed by breakfast at the Haritha Hotel.

The itinerary also includes visits to Shilparamam, the rural arts and crafts village, and the historic Kolanpaka Jain Temple, regarded as one of the oldest Jain temples in South India. Lunch will be served at Vivera Hotel in Bhongir before tourists proceed to the Swarnagiri Temple. The final destination is Bhoodan Pochampally, known internationally for its Ikat handloom weaving tradition, where visitors will also be served hi-tea at Haritha Hotel before returning to Hyderabad by around 7.30 p.m.

The package includes round-trip travel in an air-conditioned mini bus, breakfast, vegetarian South Indian lunch, hi-tea and darshan at the temples covered in the itinerary. The tour is priced at ₹2,070 for adults and ₹1,770 for children.
