Students, who completed M.Tech and B.Tech programmes in the academic years 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 in Nuzvid, Idupulapaya, Ongole, and Srikakulam RGUKT campuses were awarded the degrees, said university Chancellor Prof. Kotha Madhumurthy.

The Chancellor, along with chief guest NITI Aayog member Gobardhan Das and RGUKT Vice-Chancellor Maddali Lakshminarayana Rao conferred degrees to the students.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Gobardhan Das said that RGUKT was established with the vision of providing quality technical education to talented rural youth, and students who pursued different courses in the institution from diverse backgrounds were now graduating as equals with strong engineering foundations.

Mr. Madhumurthy highlighted the achievements, including the introduction of B.Tech programmes and minor courses in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and new M.Tech programmes. “RGUKT has developed the laboratories, digital learning systems and hostels at a cost of ₹20 crore,” he said.
