Minister for Higher Education Roji M. John said here on Saturday (June 13, 2026) that Artificial Intelligence (AI) would open up greater opportunities for the world.

“The transformation brought about by AI will be comparable to the changes that tractors and computers introduced to society,” he said in his inaugural address at the TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) Global Summit, organised at the Digital Hub of the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) here to promote entrepreneurship and innovative thinking among students, according to a release.

He said many of today’s jobs might not exist tomorrow and that the nation and society were looking to students who could bring innovation and fresh ideas.

Hibi Eden, MP, who delivered the keynote address, stressed the need to integrate entrepreneurship into the education system. He said every venture offered new lessons and learning experiences. The event was organised by the TiE Kerala Chapter in collaboration with KSUM.
