Andhra Pradesh Primary Teachers’ Association (APPTA) State Executive Council on Saturday unanimously elected its office-bearers. They include Kaki Prakash Rao as State president, M.G. Mehdi as general secretary, finance secretary Sunkara Narayana Rao, additional general secretary Sadaratulla Begh, and Kothapalli Srinivasa Rao (Anakapalli), Aslam (NTR District), Murali Mohan (Anantapur) as vice-presidents.
The committee resolved to urge the State Government to appoint the Chairman of the Pay Revision Commission (PRC), announces interim relief and clear all pending dues to employees.
The committee also resolved to launch a sustained agitation if the government failed to concede their demands.
