Retired Air Force official, and social activist, B. Rama Krishna Rao, who donated blood 192 times was felicitated by Lions Club district Governor D. Surya Prakash and Sriramnagar Lions Club president Balijepalli Ravi at a function organised in Garividi, Vizianagaram district on Monday. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Surya Prakash highlighted that there was a urgent need to create awareness about blood donation. “Doctors are unable to perform operations on many patients due to the insufficient quantity of blood of all groups.” Also present were Vizianagaram District Sainik Welfare Officer K.V.S. Prasada Rao, retired air force officials S.N.Raju, G. Rama Krishna and others.
