Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee President (KPCC) Sunny Joseph on Sunday (September 21) alleged that the Ayyappa Sangamam organised by the CPI(M) was politically motivated and had ended in failure.
Speaking to the media in Kannur, Mr. Joseph said that visuals released by the Congress clearly showed the low turnout, underscoring the failure of the event.
“The CPI(M) used the Ayyappa Sangamam for political purposes, violating the sanctity and rituals of Sabarimala,” he alleged.
