Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy left for New Delhi to secure Central Government approvals for the Hyderabad Metro Rail phase II project. During his visit, Mr. Reddy is scheduled to meet Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday (May 6, 2026).
The Chief Minister is expected to urge the Union Minister to expedite approval for the Hyderabad Metro phase II expansion project. The Telangana Government has already submitted the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the proposed expansion to the Centre.
