Days after several Siberian huskies were rescued along the Shankarpally–Patancheru road near Bhanur, rescuers and police have traced three more dogs on Monday (May 4, 2026), taking the total number of recovered dogs to ten, including one that died earlier. Initially, over 30 dogs were estimated to have been abandoned.

The latest rescue effort led to the recovery of two Siberian Huskies and a German Shepherd, found in the possession of villagers who had picked them up after spotting them roaming in distress.
