The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for seven districts in Kerala on Saturday (May 2, 2026) warning of isolated heavy rains.
The alert has been issued for Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad and Malappuram, where rains in the range of 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm are likely during the next 24 hours.
