Two police constables of the Chennai Police and three others, including a businessman, were booked by the Rajasthan police on charges of abetment of suicide, police sources said on Friday.

The constables – Shiva and Gopi – attached to the Prohibition Enforcement Wing, Madhavaram, along with a businessman Mahaveer Mehta had allegedly threatened Vardaram alias Vinod (24) of Pali district in Rajasthan that he would be implicated in a theft case following which the latter allegedly died by suicide.
