Saif Ali Khan is set to step into the shoes of a police officer in his upcoming film Kartavya. Written and directed by Pulkit, the makers announced the film’s release date on Thursday, April 30, 2026, across social media.

Apart from Saif Ali Khan, the Netflix film features Rasika Dugal, Sanjay Mishra, Zakir Hussain, Manish Chaudhari and Saurabh Dwivedi in important roles. The film revolves around a police officer played by Saif Ali Khan, who faces a tough choice when his family is in danger. He must decide between saving them or doing his duty to uphold the law.

For the unversed, Kartavya is backed by Gauri Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainments. The production house is best known for producing films and series such as Jawan, Darlings, Badla, The Ba***ds of Bollywood*, Chennai Express, Bhakshak, and others.
