Work on Yettinahole will resume within a week, says D.K. Shivakumar

Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar on Thursday said that pending works under the Yettinahole project will resume within a week, with the State moving to comply with conditions set by the Union Environment Ministry.

Addressing presspersons after a meeting on inter-linked water projects, including the Mekedatu and the Upper Bhadra Canal projects, Mr. Shivakumar said the Centre had directed the State to pay ₹257 crore towards penalties and mitigation measures.
