Noted oncologist Dr. K. Pavithran passes away

Noted oncologist Dr. K. Pavithran, 63, the head of the Medical Oncology department at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, breathed his last here.

He is survived by his wife Dr. Seethalakshmi, head of the Pathology department at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, and his children. The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the public crematorium at Edappally.
