The Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha staged a protest rally condemning the alleged role of the Indian National Congress in stalling the Women’s Reservation Bill, in Vijayawada on Monday (April 27, 2026).

The rally, held from the stadium to Seetharampuram centre, saw large participation of women who carried torches and raised slogans against the opposition parties. The protest was organised as part of a nationwide call by the BJP against the “anti-women” actions of the Congress and its allies.
