Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, for the first time after assuming the post, went to his ancestral village, Lakhanpur, on Sunday (April 26, 2026) under the Tarapur Assembly constituency, which he represents.

Addressing a public meeting in Munger, Mr. Choudhary warned against red-tapism and said strict action will be taken against any official found holding up files for a period exceeding one month.
