A 5K rally was organised on Beach Road in Visakhapatnam on Sunday to create awareness on self-enumeration as part of the Census-2027 exercise. The programme was conducted by the district administration and the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC).

District Revenue Officer M. Visweswara Naidu and GVMC Additional Commissioner Ramanamurthy flagged off the rally. Participants, including a large number of youth, raised slogans encouraging citizens to take part in the self-enumeration and digitally register their family details. Zonal Commissioners, Collectorate officials, and GVMC staff participated in the rally.
