Residents stage protest, seek house sites in Mangalagiri

Residents led by the CPI(M) staged a protest at the Mangalagiri–Tadepalli Municipal Corporation office on Saturday, demanding allocation of house sites and ownership pattas.

The protesters, many of whom arrived with applications, held a dharna, alleging delays in implementing assurances made to the poor.
