V. Vijaya Prabhakaran, son of actor-politician late Vijayakant and DMDK candidate in Virudhunagar Assembly constituency, who narrowly missed going to the Lok Sabha in 2024, hopes to emerge victorious this time. In an interview with The Hindu, he says the decision to go with the DMK was taken because the party rank and file wanted it.
