The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heatwave warning for six Telangana districts for Thursday (April 16, 2026).
According to the IMDs latest bulletin issued on Wednesday, heatwave conditions are very likely to prevail at isolated pockets in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad and Khammam districts. Except Khammam, the remaining five districts are in north Telangana.
