The growing need for a strong coordination between the fields of law and medicine in the light of evolving healthcare services and medical technology and research was highlighted at an interdisciplinary dialogue held in Jodhpur on Monday. The stakeholders’ consultation also laid emphasis on institutional partnerships in the two domains.

The dialogue on legal regulation and medical research was organised by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)-Jodhpur in collaboration with the National Law University (NLU)-Jodhpur. Experts addressing the event called for evolving a safe, transparent and legally robust healthcare system.
