The 100-year-old problem of the farmers of Mulagiripalli village in Amidyala panchayat of Uravakonda mandal, who were not having pattadar passbooks for the land they are cultivating, had been resolved with the intervention and initiative of Minister for Finance Payyavula Keshav.

The farmers of these village have been cultivating the lands that they received from their ancestors for nearly 10 decades. However, they were not having pattadar passbooks for the lands they were cultivating nor were their lands recorded online. The farmers have earlier sought the help of Mr. Keshav to resolve the issue and get pattadar passbooks issued.

Mr. Keshav instructed the revenue officials concerned to resolve the issue and followed it up with the officials on a regular basis. On Tuesday (April 07), Mr. Keshav handed over the pattadar passbooks to the farmers with the revenue officials completing the task. The farmers thanked Mr. Keshav and felicitated him for resolving the issue.

Earlier in the day, Mr. Keshav received petitions from the general public visiting his camp office in the city as part of Praja Darbar grievance redressal initiative. The Minister took the petitions, interacted with the petitioners directly and assured to resolve their grievances at the earliest.

On the occasion, Mr. Keshav said the State government led by N. Chandrababu Naidu gives priority to resolving grievances of the public. He said the government is committed to provide welfare schemes to each and every eligible beneficiary and will also give equal importance to development of the State.
