The first phase of randomisation of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audi Trail (VVPAT) units for nine Assembly constituencies in Cuddalore district will be carried out on Monday (March 23, 2026) for the Assembly elections on April 23.

According to a press release, the exercise will be conducted through computerised randomisation using the Election Commission of India’s website under the supervision of the District Election Officer.
