Hyderabad District Collector Hari Chandana Dasari on Wednesday (April 1) inaugurated a solar power system at the Bhagwan Mahavir Dialysis Centre located within the King Koti District Hospital premises. The solar installation, valued at ₹24 lakh, was donated by Surender Pal Singh, Chairman of Premium Energy Limited, along with members of the Mahavir Charitable Trust.

Representatives of the trust informed the Collector that the dialysis centre, established in 2011, has so far provided services to nearly 1.8 million patients. Currently catering to around 1,400 patients, the facility is equipped with 230 dialysis machines and offers treatment at a nominal cost of ₹300 per session.
