Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s assets estimated at ₹6.25 crore

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Monday declared assets worth ₹6.25 crore, as part of the affidavit submitted when he filed his nomination papers for the Kolathur constituency. Of this, the moveable assets are worth ₹3.3 crore and immovable assets worth ₹2.95 crore.

In the affidavit furnished before the Returning Officer on Monday, along with the nomination papers to contest the Kolathur Assembly consituency, Mr. Stalin stated that his deposits amounted to ₹2.8 crore. The current market value of 50% of the 5,833 sq.ft residential building owned by him at No. 5, Rani Street, Seethapathi Nagar, in Velachery is ₹1.57 crore. The current market value of the 25% of the 3,620 sq.ft residential building owned by him at No.5, Keezha Sannidhi Street, in Tiruvarur is ₹20.26 lakh.

The current market value of the 2.8 acre agricultural land in Agarathirunallur village in Thanjavur district is ₹5.72 lakh and the current market value of the non-agricultural land measuring 52,732 sq.ft in Kattur Village in Tiruvarur district is ₹1.12 crore. In 2024-25, the total income shown as per the income tax returns filed by him is ₹30.54 lakh.

Mr. Stalin is a resident of Teynampet, falling in the Mylapore Assembly constituency.
