Lendi Institute of Engineering and Technology (LIET) principal V.V. Rama Reddy on Sunday (March 1, 2026) said that engineering students will continue to have bright opportunities in telecom, software, service sector and other sectors in spite of many challenges in IT and other sectors due to the proliferation of artificial intelligence.

In a press release, he said that the Lendi National Innovations and Technology Summit-2026 organised in the college for the last four days had provided an opportunity for the students to have direct interaction with top executives of various companies.

Telecom Equipment Manufacturers Association of India founder and chairman Narendra Kumar Goyal, senior director of Synopsis India Private Limited K. Narenda and others clarified the doubts of students, while impressing upon them to enhance their technical skills and do certificate courses to have multiple job opportunities after completion of engineering.

The college chairman P. Madhusudana Rao, vice principals Haribabu Thammineni, V. Anji Reddy and dean of Ppacements G. Prakash Babu and others were present in the technical events and other programmes held between February 24 and 28.
