The Department of Chemistry in S.R.R. and C.V.R. Government Degree College, Vijayawada, is organising an international conference on “Eco-Adaptive Research for Techno-Sustainable Harmony” on February 12 and 13.

College principal K. Bhagya Lakshmi via a press release said the conference emphasises the need for eco-adaptive research that incorporates sustainability values into technological development, rather than pursuing innovations without considering long-term environmental impacts.

A total of 200 participants have registered for the conference. The event covers a wide range of themes related to environmental sustainability, including nanomaterials, CO₂ capture systems, clean energy concepts, invisible light–based healthcare applications, computational energy concepts and sustainable alternatives to plastics.

Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Narayana Bharat Gupta, will attend the inaugural session of the conference.
