Renowned theatre actror K. Vijayalakshmi was awarded the NTR Lifetime Achievement Award for pursuing theatre as a profession for the past 60 years during the NTR Kala Parishad Drama festival celebrations, which concluded in Ongole on Tuesday. Ms. Vijayalakshmi has won many awards earlier.
The annual cultural programme commenced on the death anniversary of former Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao on January 18, and has been entertaining the people of Prakasam district for the past 15 days, said NTR Kala Parishad president Eedara Haribabu.
Meanwhile, the students of Chandu Dance Academy enthralled the audience with Natyodhbhavam dance metaphorical performance.
