Industries Minister P. Rajeeve, who is leading the Kerala delegation at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, held deliberations with industry stakeholders from various countries to explore investment opportunities. Mr. Rajeeve focussed on highlighting the changed industrial climate in the State and its emergence as a preferred destination for future-ready investments.

During his interaction with Malgorzata Mroczkowska-Horne, Director General of the Polish Confederation Lewiatan, he pointed out the possibilities of economic cooperation between Poland and Kerala, according to the office of the Industries Minister on Tuesday. He said that the State was keen to host a Polish business delegation to work out partnerships with special focus on sectors like medical device manufacturing, IT/ ITeS and digital services, biotechnology and innovation-led industries.

In a meeting with Pushkar Mukewar, CEO and co-founder of Drip Capital, he highlighted that Kerala’s export-ready small and medium-scale enterprises are set to scale globally. In another meeting with Shyla Talluri, founder and global CEO of PURE, the Minister focussed on collaborations on skilling, talent development and industry–academia partnership. He said Kerala was keen to partner with PURE through institutions like Kerala Institute for Entrepreneurship Development (KIED).

The focus of his interaction with Rajeev Sinha, founder and CEO of Sinhas GmbH, was the State’s export-ready small and medium-scale enterprises in spices and food processing with stronger market access, branding, and distribution across Europe and beyond.
