Ministers Gottipati Ravi Kumar (Energy) and Anam Ramanarayana Reddy (Endowments) reviewed the power supply to Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam during a meeting at the Secretariat on Thursday.

Officials of the Endowments department expressed willingness to pay the pending electricity bills in instalments, while those of CPDCL agreed to install two net meters, each with a capacity of 500 kW for the temple’s 1-MW solar plant.

The Ministers advised officials of both the departments to move forward with coordination and emphasised that decisions should be taken by duly respecting the sentiments of devotees.

CPDCL CMD P. Pulla Reddy, Endowments Commissioner Ramachandra Mohan, temple EO Sina Nayak, and other senior officials were present.
