Youth Congress State president O.J. Janeesh on Saturday (January 3, 2026) urged Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan not to make statements that would affect the secular fabric of society.

He said Mr. Natesan should air views that would unite society. The public expected community leaders to take such a position, he said.

Mr. Janeesh alleged that some of the remarks by Mr. Natesan were not befitting a person leading the SNDP. He also criticised him for making communally charged remarks against a media person.
