Newmont , Freeport-McMoRan — The mining stocks rose together as gold and silver climbed to start 2026. Shares of Newmont were last higher by more than 2%, while Freeport-McMoRan gained nearly 2%. Li Auto , Nio — The Chinese EV makers rose 2.8% and 4.7%, respectively, after reporting vehicle deliveries for December. Li Auto delivered 44,246 units last month, while Nio delivered 48,135. Warby Parker — Shares ticked up nearly 2% after Loop Capital named the eyeglasses maker one of its top-pick stocks for 2026, citing the firm’s expanding EBITDA margins.
