Veer Bal Diwas was observed with patriotic fervour on Friday under the aegis of FBS Business Schools. BJP Andhra Pradesh State president P.V.N. Madhav addressed students and faculty members, recalling the extraordinary sacrifice and unwavering commitment to dharma and the nation shown by the young sons of the 10th Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.

He highlighted the lives of Sahibzada Baba Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Baba Fateh Singh, describing them as enduring symbols of courage, faith and patriotism. Despite being just 7 and 9 years old, the brothers remained steadfast in their beliefs, choosing to uphold dharma and their commitment to the nation rather than yield to threats.

Mr. Madhav emphasised that their story offers a powerful lesson for today’s youth, demonstrating that age is no barrier to courage and moral strength. Raised by their grandmother, the Sahibzadas were instilled with bravery and righteousness through nightly tales of martyrs and warriors, which deeply shaped their character and respect for dharma and the nation.

Addressing the students, he urged them to draw inspiration from the Sahibzadas’ lives and embrace the values of integrity, patriotism and resilience. Veer Bal Diwas, he noted, is not only a day of remembrance but also a call to reaffirm commitment to the ideals for which the young martyrs laid down their lives. The programme concluded with students pledging to uphold courage, discipline, and national service.
