EBG Group on Sunday (December 21, 2025) announced the launch of the Tollywood Pro League (TPL), a cricket and entertainment league conceived exclusively for the Telugu film fraternity. The league was unveiled in Hyderabad by producer Dil Raju.

The launch brought together former cricketers including Kapil Dev, Virender Sehwag and Suresh Raina. Planned as a six-team, franchise-based competition with two seasons each year, the Tollywood Pro League will feature celebrities as players and producers as team owners. “The league will blend competitive cricket with fan engagement activities, music, community initiatives and digital content,” as per a press release.
