District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore on Wednesday dismissed reports of a shortage of petrol and diesel in the city as unfounded, urging the public not to be misled by rumours.

Inspecting a fuel outlet of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited near Ram Talkies in Resapuvanipalem, the Collector, accompanied by officials from Civil Supplies and Legal Metrology, reviewed stock registers and interacted with staff to assess the ground situation.
