Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin at an event on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Wednesday (December 3, 2025) distributed petrol scooters, battery-powered wheelchairs, and wheelchairs that could be used as tricycles to 400 persons with disabilities on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The total cost of the vehicles is ₹4.12 crore.
He also presented awards to organisations, teachers, and social activists working for the welfare of persons with disabilities. South Chennai won the prize in the sports competition. The Chief Minister also presented prizes and certificates to 12 winners of a painting competition.
