Telangana largely remained unaffected by rain until late morning on Tuesday (December 2, 2025) except two districts. Mulugu district received 24.3 mm, while Nirmal recorded 3.3 mm, according to data from Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS) recorded from 8.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

While some parts of Tamil Nadu are battered by rain under the impact of Cyclone Ditwah on Tuesday, India Meteorological Department Hyderabad Centre has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershowers as very likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana.

Considering the forecast, Nagarkurnool District Collector Badavath Santhosh on Monday issued directions to ensure paddy and cotton already harvested do not soak in rain. Civil Supplies and Agriculture Marketing staff were directed to move the harvest to safe places.
