HCL Group, Shiv Nadar-promoted tech enterprise based in Noida, in collaboration with the Cycling Federation of India (CFI), will conduct its maiden Cyclothon in Bengaluru on NICE Road on February 8, 2026.

Rajat Chandolia, associate vice-president and head of Brand Strategy, HCL Group, said, “We are especially delighted to bring the HCL Cyclothon to Bengaluru, a city with a vibrant and passionate cycling community.”

The cyclothon is expected to have participants from across India, highlighting the expanding depth and enthusiasm for cycling in the country, he added while addressing a media conference here on Thursday.

Maninder Singh, secretary general, CFI, said that there was a remarkable rise in the number of people who got into cycling across the country in the recent years.

“Our partnership with the HCL goes beyond promoting cycling as a healthy lifestyle — it is about strengthening the sport at a competitive level. Events like these create opportunities, build talent, and pave the way for India to make a strong mark on the global cycling stage,” Mr. Singh added.

Being a technical partner, the CFI will oversee route certification, safety protocols, and all technical aspects to ensure a world-class racing experience for participants.

The HCL Cyclothon Bengaluru will host riders across three categories: Professionals, Amateurs, and the popular Green Ride making the event accessible to professional and amateur cyclists, and first-time participants alike.

Interested people may register their entries on www.hclcyclothon.com until January 26, 2026.

According to Mr. Chandolia, HCL Cyclothon held earlier in Noida, Chennai, and Hyderabad drew over 15,000 riders from 25 States, and the Bengaluru event would feature a prize money of ₹30 lakh.
