Teacher suspended on charges of spreading ‘false news’ about mid-day meal scheme

A secondary grade teacher (SGT) of Mandal Parishad Primary School for Girls, Jammikunta, identified as VIM Srinivas, has been suspended on charges of posting provocative messages to parents and students by spreading false news about government schemes such as mid-day meal scheme.

He used to record voice and videos in the school, threaten and blackmail the teachers and headmaster thereby damaging the reputation of the institution and the government, read the suspension order, issued by the District Educational Officer, Karimnagar, dated November 14, 2025.

He was placed under suspension with immediate effect for breaching the CCA Rules 1991 and the Conduct Rules 1964.
